In 2008 Managing Director; Anthony Chisholm, along with 2 other colleagues started their own company Alpha Drive & Power Transmission Solutions Ltd. The three men partnership comes with well over 18 years experience in Gearboxes, new units, old spares and power transmission products, new products, sales and special applications.
Anthony Chisholm left RMB Engineering after five and a half very successful years to start the business. After speaking to suppliers and along with two former staff members felt they could offer a wealth of skill and knowledge to the industry, so Alpha Drive & Power Transmission Solutions Ltd. was born.
Says Chisholm,
“We are an industry gearbox, power transmissions and motor re-seller. We also source bearings in difficult to find sizes. We outsource engineering, gearbox and geared motor modifications. We are also an engineering solution business offering Motors, Gearboxes, Fuchs, KTR, Sedis and SITI”, and adds, “Being the UK distributor for SITI and building their gearboxes puts us at the forefront of the UK market and ensures we stay competitive and have a good foundation to build on”.
As a new company Anthony insists that;

Main areas and customer: Trade, Food and Beverage, Conveyors, Quarries, Mining, Agricultural Nationwide, to name but a few.

Alpha Drive & Power Transmission Solutions Ltd. are already aiming high, going for ISO 9001 within the next 6 months.
Alpha Drive will be gearbox manufacturer SITI’s UK agent. As main distributor Chisholm states;
“SITI is interchangeable with STM, Bonfig, Spaggiari, Varvel, Motavario and May Moro. Also offered is inline and bevel helical parts from stock”.
